Franken v. Coleman: Did Coleman campaign steal ballots?

TPM has some popcorn-worthy information. First this moment of desperation from the Camp Coleman:

Sen. Coleman's lawyers are pushing to include an absentee ballot from a man who voted in Pine County even though he was a resident of another county. Last month, the Coleman campaign rejected the ballot. But now they're arguing that the ballot should be included because even though the voter lived in a different country, at the time of the election, he was in the Pine County jail.

This is getting embarrassing, Laffy said, trying to stifle a giggle. Next:

A very strange thing just occurred in the Minnesota election trial, with Al Franken's lawyers trying to raise the possibility that unnamed Coleman workers may have tampered with ballots.

What the...?

Yesterday, Franken attorney David Lillehaug began presenting a case that a number of ballots had been lost in Washington County during the recount, improperly giving Norm Coleman a net "gain" of ten votes. This is important because a potential remedy for this would be to default to the Election Night totals for affected precincts.
