Our friends over at The Mudflats just added a nice big P.S. to the Fakey McNoInterview story:

If you haven’t quite yet recovered from your previous shock that Sarah Palin would be engaging in fake interviewing, you may need to sit down… This just in about her interview with Toby Keith:

“Toby was not asked to participate nor has he ever done an interview with Sarah Palin,” his spokesperson said.

Here is what The Insider has to say:

Only problem is they're using old interview clips and not asking for the stars approval. Heck, they're not even notifying the stars that they're taking part in the show at all. Needless to say, Toby Keith, LL Cool J, and others are a bit surprised that they're the ones being touted as guests.

And via Hitfix:

"We were never contacted by Fox," his rep tells Hitfix."I have no idea what interview it's taken from. They're promoting this like it's a brand new interview. He never sat down with Sarah Palin."

Maybe ClusterFox should quit the Fakey Show. It would be a fitting end to a show that couldn't get off the ground without lies.
