Check out that last line... You can get used J Sid paper dolls for a penny. I hear Diebold has made an offer to make electronically generated ones.

Of course, we already know that he's used goods... and not worth even a red cent.

PhotOh! Amazon: Buy Palin's book, get Catastrophe

By GottaLaff

Priceless (literally):

If you visit the page for Sarah Palin's book on Amazon.com, it says "Buy Going Rogue: An American Life and get Catastrophe at an additional 5% off."
Here's my screen grab (click image to enlarge):

Overnight Thread

APOD: 2009 July 10 - The Pillars of Eagle Castle

The Pillars of Eagle Castle
Credit & Copyright: Emanuele Colognato & Jim Wood (Backyard Skies)

Explanation: What lights up this castle of star formation? The familiar Eagle Nebula glows bright in many colors at once. The above image is a composite of three of these glowing gas colors. Pillars of dark dust nicely outline some of the denser towers of star formation. Energetic light from young massive stars causes the gas to glow and effectively boils away part of the dust and gas from its birth pillar.

Thanks to all who have said they enjoy these pics, because I love them. Click to enlarge, via.

On a housekeeping note, You can also always make a donation through the PayPal button to the right, and if you are thinking of buying anything from Amazon, if you use the links over to the right, just using one of those links to buy anything gets us a couple pennies a transaction.

Amazon.com Obama mask: 'Terrorist'

Hope someone got fired for this. The good news is that all the other candidate costumes are on steep markdown.

It's not enough that the McCain-Palin campaign insists that Barack Obama "pals around'' with terrorists, our colleague at Top of the Ticket notes.

Now Amazon.com, "one of the largest and most successful online merchandisers in the world, '' cashing in on that Halloween just days away, is offering an array of Obama masks. Among them was one vendor's product making a political play, as the Ticket's Andrew Malcolm noted.

Amazon caught the listing "and deleted the Obama mask from the terrorist page. However, before that happened, The Ticket captured a photo of the advertisement.
