Rudy Giuliani to run for U.S. Senate; then may run for president in 2012

Earlier I posted about Rudy's deciding against running for governor. That was such a happy post. I look back on it fondly. However (there's that word again)...

...It turns out he had something different in mind, like running for U.S. Senate:

His opponent will be Democratic Senator Kirsten Gillibrand. This comes from "a source familiar with Giuliani's thinking." Is anyone really familiar with his way of thinking?

Come to think of it, does he think?

If elected, the source said, he could use that as a stepping stone to run for President in 2012 - rather than run for re-election to the Senate.

Rudy the Quitter?

This is great news, by the way. There is such a back log of information on Rudy. Why, here's a tasty morsel now!
