President Obama yesterday created a new Internet meme that may make some little piggies want to go wee-wee-wee all the way home.

But the 18th-century children's rhyme "This Little Piggy" was not, as it turns out, the childhood reference the president of the United States and leader of the free world was making when he yesterday told his political troops at Organizing for America, "There's something about August going into September where everybody in Washington gets all wee-weed up. I don't know what it is. But that's what happens."

No. He meant that other definition of wee-wee, a White House spokesman told the Washington press corps today, the one that's got political consultants and journalists across the city cracking jokes like, "Parents across America to their kids at bedtime tonight: 'No more wee-weeing up tonight! or I will call President Obama in the morn!'" [...]

"I think 'wee-weed up' is when people just get all nervous for no particular reason," White House press secretary Robert Gibbs explained Friday.

"We're Number One" may never have quite the same meaning again...
