A John McCain campaign event in Santa Barbara drew about 100 protesters. The protest is considered to be the largest yet against the McCain campaign.
Most of the protesters held signs demonstrating against McCain’s position on allowing offshore oil drilling. Others demonstrated against McCain’s stance on abortion.
I hope the protests get bigger. 100 is fine, but 1,000 is better. This is probably the first time McBigOil has seen what it's like to have a non-pre-screened audience.
