Video- Fox's Williams says tea partiers "should know taxes were cut" instead of attacking Obama as "some great taxer"

Wow, Liasson spoke out about the taxes too. Think Roger feels bad about the whole Hannity thing?

Video- For just a moment, Fox acknowledges that Obama's "dominant superpower" comments might have been taken out of context

Leave it to Shooty McMoosenuggets to take the meme and run with it. (This headline was all over my RSS this am- Palin taken aback by Obama 'superpower' remark ) Media Matters debunks it here.

Why is the Cleveland Clinic giving out patient info to Fox News?

Now mind you, I'm a huge fan of the Cleveland Clinic. My mom saw doctors there and I personally know of unheralded great things they have done, but why would this administrator give in to the pernicious requests of Fox News? As usual, Fox decided that the hard luck story of Natoma Canfield that President Obama discussed yesterday, just couldn't be true, so they went after her.... just like before.

Natoma Canfield, the cancer-stricken woman who has become a centerpiece of President Obama's push for health care reform, will not lose her home over her medical bills and will probably qualify for financial aid, a top official at the Cleveland medical center treating her told FoxNews.com.

(snip)

Lyman Sornberger, executive director of patient financial services at the Cleveland Clinic, said "all indications" at the outset are that she will be considered for assistance.

"She may be eligible for state Medicaid ... and/or she will be eligible for charity (care) of some form or type. ... In my personal opinion, she will be eligible for something," he said, adding that Canfield should not be worried about losing her home.

"Cleveland Clinic will not put a lien on her home," he said.
Leaving aside the breach of this woman's private info, what the hell is this supposed to prove? That she won't have bills? That she won't have anything to worry about? I'm sure she's going to be happy that her home is safe, but there will still be bills- prescriptions, techs, rehab etc. She hasn't qualified for anything yet, and may not. The major point still stands- She couldn't afford her insurance, probably slacked on preventative care and will have to pay much more money than she should just to (maybe) get better.

Conservatives are teh stupid

Now in ConservaWorld™ the leech who is having their mortgage paid off by the hard working, non government teat sucking person is the villain, right? So then the person who buys this and puts it on their car is actually advertising that they are the villain. How many rear end collisions do you think it will take them to figure this out?

It's being sold by the Tennessee GOP. No comment.

Rahm's 21 Conversations That Never Happened

Hard to imagine the media taking a lie and embellishing it. Turns out that the person who started the lie is a known fabricator and Palin supporter.

Some in the media had a field day with a report by a gossip columnist claiming that Rahm Emanuel spoke to Blago and his staff on 21 separate occasions about filling Barack Obama's senate seat, and that each conversation was recorded by FBI wiretaps.

Only one problem: the report was the work of fantasy, fit for a Grisham or Turow novel, but not for the airwaves. As it turns out, Rahm only spoke to Blago once, and it didn't focus on the Senate seat. He spoke to Blago's Chief of Staff four times, and in those conversations did nothing improper.

E.D. "Terrorist Fist Jab" Hill To Leave Fixed Noise

Seems she was sent to Fox Siberia (afternoon shifts) after the "Fist Jab Fiasco", but seriously, who thinks she came up with it on her own? Easier to blame it on the talent than the infrastructure I guess.

Exclusive: TVNewser has learned veteran Fox News Channel anchor E.D. Hill will not be renewed when her current contract expires. Hill, who has been with Fox News for more than 10 years, will continue with the network for the next few months until her current deal expires.
