Centerfold double standard?

By GottaLaff

http://wwwimage.cbsnews.com/images/2009/09/23/image5331952x.jpg

Reader Raine1967 reminds us that if this had been Martha Coakely's stapled, um, area, we might very well have had a scandal brewing ... and an election bid down the drain:
Long before he was a politician, the Republican candidate vying for Ted Kennedy’s U.S. Senate seat posed nude for the centerfold of Cosmo. Scott Brown won our “America’s Sexiest Man” contest and appeared in the June 1982 issue. In those days he was a 22-year-old law student at Boston College who was cramming for finals just days before stripping down for our photographer.
Are you ready for your close-up, Mr. Happy, er, Brown?

Is that your stimulus package, or are you just happy to see me?

VIDEO-- "Cavity Search": Naked Blagojevich Painting By 'Nude Sarah Palin' Artist

By GottaLaff

[portrait.jpg]
Nude painting sequel
Remember the artist who used his daughter as a body model for his nude Sarah Palin portrait? I guess ol' Bruce Elliott has an obsession with dishonest naked politicians:

"I did Palin naked, I should do Blagojevich naked."
That quote speaks for itself. This is a family blog, so no Rod jokes.
A nude portrait of the governor, by artist Bruce Elliott, is nearly complete and will hang on the wall of Elliott's wife's bar, the Old Town Ale House, next to his infamous depiction of a naked Sarah Palin. It is the next installment in what Elliott loosely calls his "nude governor series."

Elliott cites many sources of inspiration for the painting, which shows the governor, who was arrested last week on corruption charges, preparing for a potential first day of incarceration. Among them: the extent of the governor's alleged misdeeds and the artist's desire to respond to criticism from Republicans and women about the Palin portrait by painting a Democrat in the buff. [...]

The scene imagines Blagojevich handcuffed and wearing an orange jumpsuit pulled down to his knees.

Among the onlookers is a guard, with a look of grim determination, pulling on a rubber glove.

The painting, which is taking Elliott a little over a week to finish, is titled: "The Cavity Search."
Now Blago can honestly say, "Hey, youse guys! I was framed!"

IWRC* Palin's Nude portrait

By GottaLaff

Bruce Elliott is against everything IWRC* stands for, but he grins and bares it:
Elliott, whose wife, Tobin Mitchen, owns the Old Town Ale House on Chicago's North Side, painted a nude portrait of the Republican vice presidential nominee and hung it above the bar, where it's now a prime attraction among his display of more than 200 celebrity portraits and other racy art.

Palin became Elliott's muse after he saw her on TV.

"I've been following her religiously," he said Monday at the bar. "I had never heard of her before, like everyone else. I find her bizarrely fascinating, even though I pretty much despise everything she stands for."
You think that's a little odd? How about this:
His daughter, who looks a little like Palin and does a great impression of her, served as model for the governor's body.
Alrighty then.
