Two Dangerous Women: Today's Special Comment by my 72-year-old friend
By GottaLaff

Take it away, 42bkdodgr:
Thank you once again for a thoughtful, relevant, and thought-provoking piece, 42bkdodgr. I, for one, am paying attention. Two Dangerous Women
In the past year, we have all laughed and shaken our heads at the remarks made by former Gov. Sarah Palin and Rep. Michele Bachmann. Some of the classic remarks by Gov. Palin included “Death Panel” "I told the Congress, 'Thanks, but no thanks,' on that Bridge to Nowhere.", "As Putin rears his head and comes into the air space of the United States of America, where– where do they go? It's Alaska. It's just right over the border”... and her thought that some areas of the country are more pro-American than others.
Classic remarks by Rep. Bachmann include wanting her constituents to be, “armed and dangerous"; “AmeriCorps will establish re-education camps"; “There are anti-Americans in Congress”; “You Da Man”.
There are too many silly and ridiculous remarks made by both of these women to review here. Both have been the subjects of parodies on Saturday Night Live for their statements and remarks made during press and media interviews. So you may wonder why I consider these two women dangerous.
Gov. Palin and Rep. Bachmann are using tactics similar to those of Joseph McCarthy by questioning the loyalty of members of Congress, and that only people living in a certain part of the country are true Americans. McCarthy use to wave a paper with a list of names he said were communists working in the State Department. Individuals from all walks of life were called before Congress to testify about their loyalty to the country and to name names. Many careers and lives were ruined by the so called “Red Scare” period.
While you may think Palin is a lightweight when it comes to the issues of today, she is a force to be reckoned with. Palin has attracted over 800,000 followers to her face book account, and on August 26th, while praising Glenn Beck, asked her followers to watch his show. That night, Beck had over 3 million viewers, his highest number of viewers to date.
In the past, others were laughed at when they began their political careers that only ended in disastrous results for a country and the world. Never take anyone lightly; you never know what may happen.

Secret Fundy "C Street Family" Might Not Report Child Rapist Member to Police? Looks that way
By GottaLaff
[T]he son of Doug Coe, the "spiritual leader" of the Family and his heir apparent, would consider a Family member raping a child a test of the member's choseness and to be resolved inside of the fellowship, without reporting it to the law authorities, it appears.Much, much more here. Go read, then ask your doctor to prescribe a blood-pressure-lowering pill. This is how dangerous they are. They apparently believe even child rape is something that God wants them to keep secret amongst themselves! [...]
The Family on C Street includes Dr. Tom "Execute Abortionists" Coburn who grilled Sonya Sotomayor during her Judiciary Committee hearings -- and who counseled Ensign on his ongoing adulterous affair with a staffer who is the wife of another staffer.
These are dangerous men to the Republic. They think that they are members of some modern Skull and Bones of Sparta, selected by God to inflict a deranged "Christian" government upon the democracy of America -- and for whom immorality and breaking the law are only acts in which God is testing them -- and for which they hold no public responsiblity in their hearts and minds.
Keeping secret one of the members who might admit to child rape!
God help us all -- but not their God, who is merely a monstrous, self-serving excuse in their own minds for evading the laws, ethics, and responsibilities of living a civilized and legal life.

Kerry on the attack: John Sidney McCain is "dangerous"
By GottaLaff
Former Democratic presidential candidate John Kerry told donors at a Boston fundraiser for Barack Obama Monday night that John McCain is "dangerous" for the direction of the country.Yes. Yes he is.
Kerry listed Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran and North Korea as examples of foreign policy issues that he believes Obama has had more foresight on than McCain. He also noted that even the Bush administration has fallen in sync with Obama on several positions recently.
Obama leads, they follow. Simple as that. Uh oh! Is that being too presidential?
How doth Kerry zing thee? Let us counteth the ways:
“John McCain is still stuck on the low road express,” said Kerry. “He doesn’t get it. He’s even dangerous, I think, for the direction of this country.”
Kerry accused McCain of repeated flip-flopping and going back on his word of running a clean campaign He also poked fun at McCain’s economic credentials.
And he closes his McCain is Dangerous Act with:
“I don’t know if you know this,” joked Kerry, “John McCain is looking for someone for vice president who has more economic expertise than he does. So congratulations to all of you, you’re on the short list.”Snaparoony.
