Ban Panels

By GottaLaff

http://newsimg.bbc.co.uk/media/images/45112000/jpg/_45112883_palin_afp466b.jpg

The other day I posted about two of my Alaskan blogger pals who were on the Barbie McLipSchmutz Big Book Signing Tour blacklist. I thought Barbie had personally hand chosen the lucky listers.

Well now, is my face Going Rouge!

It turns out it was the First Dude, aka Todd the Banner, who compiled said list. Via TPM:
We've now gotten Zaki's later report in an email sent to TPMMuckraker: "Just spoke to James Hastings, the manager who booted me from the Wasilla Center. The 'banned list' is just four names he wrote in a notebook after getting the names from Todd Palin. Yes Todd Palin. The shadow governor...."
That wiley compiley. I bet he knew all along his wifey-poo would get all the credit.

What an open-minded, inclusive, big tent couple they are. Both of them. All two of them. Together.

Why, one might even start referring to them as a Ban Panel.

John McCain blows off "The View"

By GottaLaff

The view co-hosts grilled McCain in September.
It seems like a lifetime ago that J Sid was on The View, but to the loser of Election 2008, it isn't long enough:
Sen. John McCain just may have blacklisted the hit talk-show The View after a heated, somewhat confrontational, appearance on the program last September.
You know what they say: If you can't stand the heat(ed appearance), get out of the kitchen way of View hosts. Barbara Walters:

"He had been on The View and was not very happy," Walters told a gathering at Syracuse University, according to Portfolio.com. "And when we walked out and I saw him I said, 'Senator, so nice to see you. I hope you'll come on The View again.' And he looked at me and said, 'Not anytime soon.'” [...]

Walters specifically challenged Palin's reformist credentials, noting McCain has served in Washington for more than two decades and asking repeatedly, "Who's she going to reform, you?"

Whatever happened to J Sid's inflamous, knee-slappin' sense of humor?

McCain's wife Cindy, after a contentious fall appearance of her own, declared that the co-hosts "picked our bones clean."

Go here to see the videos of J Sid getting his bones picked clean.

Gee whiz, if he's that reticent to return to a daytime Tee Vee show, how would he have behaved had he been elected president, and gotten dissed by, say, an Iranian leader?

Silly me. He'd probably have joked his way out of it.
