Rep. Boehner: Republicans have not signed on

John Boehner says there is no firm deal, but nobody said there was. It was called "an agreement in principle". So we have to wait for the photo op, per MSNBC.

UPDATE: Everybody is still scrambling around, now that a deal is in sight. McCain and Boehner apparently got together, if I heard right. There are additional items that are being put forward, from both the left and the right. Many are still opposed to this thing. Democrats will not put this on the floor until they get significant Republican support.

And Republicans have an alternative plan.
