"I'd like him to" support Israel? Did she really just say that? With every statement she utters, she proves herself to be increasingly out of touch, a blatant liar, and a nasty, snide know-nothing.
WALLACE: How hard do you think President Obama would be to defeat in 2012?
PALIN: It depends on a few things, say he played — I got this from Buchanan — say he played the war card. Say he decided to declare war on Iran or decide to really come out and do whatever he could to support Israel–which I would like him to do. That changes the dynamics of what we can assume will happen between now and three years. Because I think if the election were today, Obama would not be elected.
What? No song? She must have forgotten to write the words on her palm:
What would anyone expect with the horrid conditions in our own country that needs "nation building"? Via Taegan-
Politics Daily reports on a new poll that shows just as President Obama "outlined his broad strategy for Afghanistan and is pushing ahead with other global initiatives, the percentage of Americans who believe the U.S. should mind its own business and let other countries get along on their own has reached an all-time high."
The survey found 49% of Americans holding that view. The previous highs were 41% in both 1995 and 1976.
If Obama had bellowed one tenth of what McPresumptuous has, he'd have been simultaneously ridiculed and disdained right off of the airwaves.
– Jill Zuckman, Chicago Tribune: “It’s just sort of a perfect thing for him.”
– Jeff Birnbaum, Washington Post: “This is McCain’s advantage here, advantage McCain. This is right in his sweet spot in foreign policy national security.”
– Mark Halperin, Time Magazine: “I think McCain benefits…this is good politically for John McCain”
Nauseous yet?
Halperin hinted at why many in the media think the Georgia-Russia conflict is a winner for McCain, becuase it “allows him to talk tough on foreign policy.”
But as Josh Marshall notes, “watching John McCain speak about the Georgian crisis […] should deeply worry anyone interested in a sane US foreign policy,” suggesting that a President McCain would have pushed the U.S. closer to war during this particular crisis: “People need to wake up and get a look of the preview he’s giving us of a McCain presidency.”
Chest-thumping, irrational, bumbling, confused, hostile, lobbyist-infested war mongers make the bestest, awesomest presidents ever!
