Sarah Palin To Debut New Fox Show With Guest L.L. Cool J

By GottaLaff

Because this is how ClusterFox's NotCool McAprilFool rolls:

Sarah Palin will host her first episode of "Real American Stories" Thursday April 1 [...]

Guests will include country singer Toby Keith, GE CEO Jack Welch, and rapper/actor L.L. Cool J.

Why NotCool, what a diverse guest list. Is that what you mean when you refer to "Real America"? So unlike the not real America crowds you get at your rallies. But I digress:

Mr. J will be an interesting interview for Palin. He's not an "out" conservative, as far as I know, but his politics seem to lean libertarian, which would make him an odd bird in and of itself in the entertainment world. The fact that he's a libertarian-leaning, Rand-quoting rapper makes him even more fascinating.

Yes, but what will make McAprilFool more fascinating? Anyone?

Ooo! Ooo! Me! Pick me! I know! Actually reading some of the books from which Mr. J quotes! That might make for a decent interview. Then maybe she could sing some country ditties with Toby, followed by some corporate love for Welch.

Who wouldn't want to tune into that?

Ooo! Ooo! Me!

Fran Drescher in Talks With Fox, MSNBC

By GottaLaff

http://evilbeetgossip.film.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/fran_drescher3.jpg

For those who haven't heard this one, it's time for a personal tie-in to this story, just for fun: I think I've told you that I used to work with Fran Drescher. No, not as actors. She had a line of homemade croutons, I used them in my gift baskets, a business I started during the WGA strike to keep us afloat. She was genuinely nice, generous, and easy to be with.

When she sat next to Mr. Laffy at the Cable Ace Awards one year, she sent her love (I didn't get to go. They wouldn't provide a seat for spouses.), which surprised me, because it had been at least a year since we'd spoken. I'm impressed if someone remembers me after a week, let alone a year.

Next thing I knew, she was all over the Tee Vee Machine supporting Hillary Clinton for president. That didn't end too well, but at least she wasn't a McCain spokesperson.

Look out! Here she comes again!

She's a Democrat with snap, but that doesn't mean Hollywood activist Fran Drescher—TV's The Nannyisn't sweet on Fox News. In giving up her ambition to run for office in New York, she's opened negotiations with Fox for a talk show. And why not? she says with that trademark nasal giggle. "A lot of my fans watch Fox News," says Drescher, who is also talking to MSNBC. The possible topics the cancer survivor and State Department envoy wants to explore: politics, healthcare, world affairs.
Just because she's been so sweet, I'd tune in to Faux, but only once, if she landed a show there.

Sarah the Quitter Considering Talk Radio Show?

By GottaLaff

http://www.rndapps.com/images/WordSaladLogo.jpg

If there's one thing Sarah the Quitter does, it's talk... and talk... and talk (too bad nobody can follow what she says)...and talk....
Inside Radio: "While not exactly shopping the GOP's 2008 vice presidential candidate, sources say Palin representatives have been quietly testing the waters to see how much interest radio syndicators have for her."

"Sources say Palin hasn't committed to radio either, but rather it could be a possible next step for her."
... and talk... and talk... and talk. Maybe they could call her show "Talk Salad".
