Video- Heritage Crowd Angry When Eric Cantor Says Obama Isn’t “Domestic Enemy”

Via Greg, the pertinent part starts about 1:10. Greg notes-
To be sure, you’ll always find a few malcontents in any crowd. But it’s worth keeping in mind that this isn’t some Tea Party rally. It looked to be made up of donors and more policy-oriented folks. Yet the claim that Obama is a “domestic enemy” was well received, and Cantor’s dismissal of it provoked audible groans from at least a few of the attendees.

Activist Who Staged Gun Interview At Obama Event Was Defender Of '90s Militia

By GottaLaff

You all remember Chris, don't you? If you need an unpleasant memory jolt, go here for the video. He's the one with the assault rifle at the Obama event in Phoenix.

Well, there was this other gun guy there, too, Ernest Hancock, who organized the whole thing:
And Hancock, who was also on the scene with a holstered handgun, turns out to have had very close ties to a 90s-era Arizona militia group called the 'Viper Militia' most of whose members were eventually sent to federal prison on various weapons and explosives charges tied to plans to bomb federal buildings.
Seems Chris was pallin' around with Hancock who was pallin' around with terrorists.

[...] Viper Militia folks were sort of Tim McVeigh also-rans from back in the glory days. Hancock, though not indicted himself, was their main public advocate. He was clearly close to these folks while they were plotting.

These are the "don't take our guns away" guys who are in close proximity to President Obama and his supporters... armed with big, scary-looking, dangerous, threatening, macho, penis-surrogate weapons. These are the guys who feel their rights are in jeopardy, the ones who publicly pack heat "because they can".

Because of who they are, it is the rest of it who are potentially at risk.

And these same sickos are protesting the very policies that would make us healthier, both physically and mentally, as a nation. How ironic that they would be some of the most needy beneficiaries.

Justin Elliot has the rest.

Ranting man’s knife was visible — his hand grenade wasn’t

By GottaLaff

Whether or not this was a politically motivated incident is still unknown, based on this report. But if this nutcase was yet another right wing extremist, or simply someone who escaped from a rubber room, both contribute to the recent uptick in the number of domestic terrorist incidents.

Spreading any message using violence-- no matter whose-- just doesn't say, "Join us. Join the cause. We're here for you. Peace, love, and unity is, you know, so Obama ago." But what it does do is influence those who are on the edge. It needs to stop.

From Philly.com:

Center City employees and shoppers were given quite a scare this morning by a man who was ranting and wielding a knife for nearly an hour at 8th and Market streets, police said.

What they didn't see was the hand grenade that police later recovered from his bag. [...]

When police arrived, they saw the man threatening passers-by with a large army knife. Authorities detained the man and found a hand grenade inside a camouflage backpack he wore, Little said. [...]

The grenade was later determined to be a practice round.

The man, who has not been charged, was taken to Pennsylvania Hospital for psychiatric evaluation.

This kind of stuff is contagious, like the plague.

Bill O’Reilly To Address Critics Tonight Over Murder Of Doctor

There will be much building of strawmen and subsequent destruction of same... There's an awful lot of "facts" for him to ignore though. Via Greg-

Bill O’Reilly — who’s taking a beating for the jihad he’s waged against George Tiller, the doctor who performed late-term abortions and was gunned down yesterday — will address the killing and the criticism directed at him on his show tonight, a Fox spokesperson confirms to me.

O’Reilly has attacked Tiller in dozens of episodes, frequently referring to him as “Tiller the Baby Killer,” Salon reports. After the news spread of Tiller’s murder yesterday, multiple critics fingered O’Reilly for fomenting a hate campaign against him.

I asked Fox spokesperson Richard White if O’Reilly had a response to the criticism. “Mr. O’Reilly will be addressing the issue/topic on tonight’s show,” White answered.

McCain: DHS report 'insulting'

Could someone wake up Grampapa and let him know that this fauxrage is sooo last week. They've moved on.

Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) is calling on the Obama administration to apologize to veterans over a recently released Department of Homeland Security report warning that “right-wing extremists” will attempt to “radicalize returning veterans.”

“The last people on earth we need to worry about are our veterans,” McCain said during an interview Monday night with Fox News’s Greta Van Susteren. “It’s insulting.”

“Timothy McVeigh didn't learn to make that huge bomb while he was in the military. He learned it afterwards,” McCain added. “So to point out one veteran who committed an act of atrocity I think is outrageous.”

Animal activist becomes first domestic terrorist to appear on FBI's 'Most Wanted' list

ZOMG!!! Teh FBI is unfairly targeting little old ladies from California who love kitties! How else would you explain the inclusion of a lefty animal rights activist as the first (really?**) domestic terrorist on the Most Wanted list?

For the first time, an accused domestic terrorist is being added to the FBI's list of 'Most Wanted' terror suspects that includes Osama bin Laden.

Daniel Andreas San Diego, a 31-year-old computer specialist from Berkeley, California, is wanted for the 2003 bombings of two corporate offices in California.

Authorities describe San Diego as an animal rights activist who turned to bomb attacks and say he has a tattoo that proclaims, 'It only takes a spark'.

San Diego would be the 24th person on the list, and the only domestic terror suspect.

FBI spokesman Richard Kolko declined to comment on the pending announcement.
**Wasn't Eric Rudolph on the Most Wanted list? Why yes, he was. So what the hell is this all about? Oh, now I see- there's a "Most Wanted" list and a "Most Wanted Terrorist" list that was started after 9/11. But I'm betting Rudolph would have been on the second one had it been around. And make sure you watch for the usual suspects to start crowing about how the "first" one is a lefty, even after all the brouhaha over the righties. Sigh.

FOX News Spells Out U.S. Strategy For Spotting Terrorists In Pakistan

May I just say, given the opportunity, I'd drop one of those things in my psycho neighbors' house in a heartbeat. Nope, no possibility of misuse here.
