Video- Conservative columnist tries to claim death panels are in health reform bill, hilarity ensues

I'm thinking this word "lie" should be used with a lot more frequency.

Kudlow hearts CNBC more than the U.S. Senate

By GottaLaff

Larry Kudlow has thought the better of it (original post):
CNBC anchor Larry Kudlow announced on his show that he will not mount a campaign to take on Sen. Christopher Dodd (D-CT), CQ Politics reports.

Said Kudlow: "This evening, I'm letting the world know that I am not running for the U.S. Senate. And here's why: in my heart I know that I belong right here at CNBC."
This CNBC? To thine own, er, heart be true.

Larry Kudlow Considering Running Against Chris Dodd

By GottaLaff

http://www.greatertalent.com/backend/speakers/351/Kudlow,%20Larry.jpg
The Tee Vee Machine is spawning candidates:
Jennifer Rubin at Commentary: "Here at CPAC a well placed source with knowledge of the Republican Senate Committee plans tells me that Larry Kudlow is 'considering' a Senate run against embattled Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd. Dodd's approval ratings have been plummeting in light of the Friend of Angelo scandal and the ongoing effort to stonewall local and national media... Also on the horizon is former Congressman Rob Simmons. So stay tuned: we might just have the most entertaining and most educational senate race in a long time."
Will Cramer be next? That would be the loudest, most annoying campaign ever.

VIDEO: What Obama's right-wing dinner partners are saying today

By GottaLaff

"Yesterday, he met with the liberal columnists. And they had a pleasant hour in the conference room in his office. They got some coffee in some styrofoam cups. We had a pleasant dinner at George’s house, and they had some coffee from the machine in the office."
Yesterday, I posted about P.E. Obama's impending dinner date with some of the rightiest of the righties. If this were a dating show featuring a Palin documentary filmmaker, we'd see who bonded, who was rejected, who got humiliated, and who might get a call back. Instead, all we get are a few sketchy descriptions from participants whose reliability is dubious at best.

Here's a video of Charles Krauthammer with his two (non)cents.

Above, we see Bill Kristol being all Bill Kristol-y, so pop a Tums and get the Pepto Bismol out.

And finally, boffo reviews galore from Larry Kudlow. He makes it sound as if a second date were in their future [insert wolf whistle and heavy panting here]:
Larry Kudlow, who attended the right-wing dinner, said: "I was very impressed. He's a nice guy, terribly smart, well-informed, great smile. He just really engaged. He said he likes to know the arguments on all sides."
No word yet from George Will, Peggy Noonan, Paul Gigot, or David Brooks. I'm sure they were swept off their two right feet and are converting to Progressivism as we speak.

Sarah Palin wants to know what vice presidents do

By GottaLaff

(Relevant quote at about 2:50. She apparently likes the word "cool")

Sarah might want to do a little research:

In general, when someone applies for a job, they know what it is. If someone offers you a job, they will hopefully be able to explain to you what your duties are, if you didn't know already.

I bring this up because last month Sarah Palin said:

"As for that VP talk all the time, I’ll tell you, I still can’t answer that question until somebody answers for me what is it exactly that the VP does every day?"
Some people think the Democrats should be worried about Palin as a pick. But me, I have to wonder: if John McCain still can't count houses, and Sarah Palin doesn't know what she'll do with her days if she wins, how worried should we be?
Before we get to complacent, remember: Dan Quayle won.
