Guess which power couple is back together after rumors of a nasty break-up?

"Get your stories straight! We did NOT break up!" a desolate Michael Steele revealed in a rare public outburst. "Rush still loves me! I have the Oxycontin hangover to prove it!"

Michael Steele and Rush Limbaugh denied rampant rumors of a messy break-up:

Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele said Tuesday he has spoken with Rush Limbaugh about his comments regarding the conservative radio talk show host.

"We had a nice conversation last night," Steele said in a statement sent to CNN. "We are all good."

RNC officials described the call as private and did not elaborate on the details of the conversation between the two men.

After aggressively plowing through a throng of reporters toward a giddy Michael Steele, Rush, glistening with perspiration, could be overheard mumbling, "That Mike Steele is a bigger man than I thought he was. And I think you know what I mean..." The rest of his murmurs were muffled by the sound of snapping paparazzi cameras.

However, one Page Six reporter swore he saw Steele whisper something in Limbaugh's ear upon reuniting, after which the two giggled uncontrollably, exiting arm in arm.

A TMZer stands by his story that intimate Tweets have been shared between the two, and that the spat was officially over.

Republicans can rest easy. The duo now known as Mush (Michael + Rush) are once again ... the official D.C. power couple.
