By GottaLaff

Seven coordinated attacks have occurred, per Andrea Mitchell:

Fatal shootings in India's financial hub of Mumbai appear to be a terrorist attack, a senior police office said on Wednesday. "It seems to be a terrorist attack, many places under siege by gunmen," A.K. Sharma, a Mumbai government railway police commissioner, told local television. There were reported of shootings in other parts of the city, including some five star hotels. At least two people have died and 10 have been wounded.
Nobody has claimed responsibility. More:

"The terrorists have used automatic weapons and in some places grenades have been lobbed. The encounters are still going on and we are trying to overpower them," Roy said.

The gunmen attacked two luxury hotels, the Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus station in southern Mumbai and Leopold's restaurant, a Mumbai landmark.

"It seems to be a terrorist attack, many places under siege by gunmen," A.K. Sharma, a Mumbai government railway police commissioner, told local television.

And this:
Commissioner Hasan Ghafoor said the attacks were suspected to be “coordinated terrorist acts”, and added that automatic weapons like AK47 and AK56 and semi-automatic rifles were apparently used. Most of the injured were policemen.

It appeared that small groups of heavily armed terrorists sneaked into busy public places, mostly in south Mumbai, leading to a scare in the metropolis.

Police official said suspected terrorists opened fire at police and paramilitary forces outside the Taj Mahal Hotel in south Mumbai between 10.15 p.m. and 10.30 p.m.
