Many supporters of the New York Senator in New Hampshire are having trouble embracing the Land of Lincolner.

One voter: “He revolts me… He can choose Bugs Bunny for vice president or he can choose God, presuming he doesn’t think that he’s God. It won’t matter.”

So voting for John McBush-- who thinks the way to help the economy is to waste time and money raping the environment by drilling for an outdated energy source; who thinks the way to resolve a fraudulent, bloody occupation is to kill more people and ignore their leader's wishes for withdrawal; who thinks Social Security is a disgrace; who's idea of right to privacy is (most likely) hiding evidence of marital affairs in his hangar-sized walk-in closet; who believes torture is A-OK -- will produce better results than voting for Barack Obama?

Or worse yet, not voting at all, shirking responsibility for who ultimately gets elected, giving away a vote to ensure a McCain win-- that works?

"Not embracing" Obama is understandable, but not accepting reality? He's the Democratic candidate. The consequences of another Republican administration would be grave. There's too much at stake to ignore what would happen if Hillary supporters throw the election to Phil Gramm's boss.

Disappointment is one thing. Masochism is another.
