The Tea Baggers are getting nervous

By GottaLaff

Hey chums! Want to join me in some fun? Check out how jittery the Tea Tantrumers are getting.

Via an e-mail, with the subject line: Urgent! Bailout Bob is at it again.

A message to all members of Tea Party Nation

Bailout Bob Corker, (RINO-TN) is at it again

The liberals have three major agendas they want passed this year. The first was health care, the second is financial overhaul and the third is cap and tax.

While the liberals were able to take over 1/6 of the economy with healthcare, they are now trying to take over the remaining 5/6 with "financial reform" legislation.

This bill, written by Chris "Countrywide" Dodd, is a permanent bail out of the financial sector. It provides for advance funding for government take overs of banks. Although Corker denies this, it is a permanent bailout.

Until now, all 41 Republican Senators had stood firm, providing a filibuster that the liberals could not break. Now, that is changing. Corker has been signaling his willingness to work with Chris Dodd. This bill does nothing for the American people. It will only allow the government to control even more of our economy.

Corker needs to hear from all of us, regardless of whether you live in Tennessee. Call his offices as soon as you can and tell him not to compromise with Chris Dodd, and not to support this "financial reform."

Jackson 731-424-9655

Send this email to your friends and encourage them to call Corker's offices. The Obama/Pelosi/Reid axis of fiscal evil are on the move again and Bailout Bob Corker is the one vote that could stop this.

Call him today!

Just a heads up for those who are interested. I only just found out about this.

I will be live on the air at 6:45 Pacific, on Angie Coiro's San Francisco based Green 960 show! Here is a link to the streams. Angie's a hoot, it's like being on with a friend.

It'll just be a short visit, but a fun one.

Going on the Radio Machine

By GottaLaff

I've been asked to do a half hour on this station tonight, some time between 6-8 Pacific. Gulp. They are broadcast on XM (Clear Channel, if I got that right.. I was so nervous!) and KKGN-960AM.

Earlier today, Josh Levs of CNN called me to let me know about TPC being credited. He knew we'd been given the short shrift by many outlets and wanted me to see that he was giving us a shout out. How cool was that?

P.S. I'm a wreck.

What To Watch For Tonight

By GottaLaff

Reminder: I'll be putting up a livestream Tee Vee Machine so you can watch MSNBC. I'll probably put it up around 3-ish Pacific or so, depending on what's going on.

Meantime, here's what Taegan says to watch for tonight:

7 p.m. -- Polls close in Georgia, Indiana, South Carolina, Virginia and Kentucky.

If Virginia is called quickly for Obama, it means he likely wins the presidential race and Democrats across the country will have a huge night. If it's not called early, it's could be an indication that white undecided voters are breaking to McCain. Prepare for an hour long discussion of the "Bradley effect." If Georgia or Indiana are called early for Obama, it's a leading indicator for a landslide.

In Kentucky, all eyes are on the fate of Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY).

7:30 p.m. -- Polls close in North Carolina, Ohio and West Virginia.

Obama victories in North Carolina or Ohio likely seal the deal for him. An Obama win in West Virginia means start looking for Obama coattails in close House and Senate races.

8:00 p.m. -- Polls close in Florida, Missouri, New Hampshire and Pennsylvania.

If Pennsylvania is called early for Obama, McCain cannot win. His only real path to the presidency at this point requires he win the Keystone State. An Obama win in Missouri once again means a likely landslide in the electoral college.

9:00 p.m. -- Polls close in Colorado and New Mexico.

Polls indicate both of these swing states should go to Obama. Early calls in each state will have Obama racking up electoral votes quickly.

10:00 p.m. -- Polls close in Iowa, Montana, and Nevada.

If Obama wins in Montana and Nevada, we're looking at a possible political realignment of the Mountain West of the United States.

11:00 p.m. -- Polls close in California and North Dakota.

California is the biggest state of them all with 55 electoral votes and may put Obama over the top. If the election hasn't been decided by now, it's probably become an interesting night for the McCain campaign and Republicans.
However, an Obama win in North Dakota means we're witnessing a landslide.
I'm on pins and needles.
