Earlier today, President-elect Barack Obama returned phone calls to six world leaders and expressed his appreciation for congratulations on his election. He returned calls to:

Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen
Dutch Prime Minister Balkenende
Greek Prime Minister Karamanlis
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki
Kuwaiti Amir Sheikh Al-Ahmad al-Jaber al-Sabah
Qatari Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani

President-elect Barack Obama also called former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, who is visiting the United States.

After he and Blair hung up, Obama had the inexplicable epiphany that he was dead set against the new Obama First Pup being a poodle.
