John Sidney McCain keeps repeating his invitation to Barack Obama to debate in a town hall meeting arena. Fine. I'll give him points for persistence.
However, he claims that had Obama accepted his invitations, the entire tone of the campaign would be less vicious and bloodthirsty. Poof.
Let me get this straight: If you engage in Debate In the Round, it magically transforms two hostile, nasty candidates into kindly, gracious Obama/Biden soul mates? That's the secret?
Please remind me, somebody, that the next time Mr. Laffy and I have words, all we need is a change of venue, room shape, and furniture.
I wonder if Pamela Anderson knows about this. Think of all the divorces she could have avoided.
