Palin/McCain's first joint town hall meeting in 2 words: No specifics

By GottaLaff

Softballs, softballs, softballs. Per Dana Bash on CNN right now, at the first joint Palin/McCain town hall meeting, the questions were much friendlier than Gramm-pa Sid has gotten in the past. The audience didn't require detailed answers, and the duo didn't give any. Here's a sample:

Tell us about your foreign policy, Sarah Palin. Answer: Blahblahblah pipeline.
Then Gramm-pa stepped in and talked about her energy policies. It was a rerun of her Charles Gibson interview.

In short, they gave no specifics. None. I sat here and watched the report and the video, and there were, quite conspicuously, no direct answers, just more convention speech regurgitation.

There is simply no comparison between Obama/Biden and Palin/McCain. It's painfully obvious.
