The hearing is live here.

UFO Watchers Wonder What Obama Admin Will Reveal

Did a UFO fly past President Barack Obama's inauguration?

I was going to chortle that "only the Daily Mail" but as I read on, well, it's not only the Daily Mail. Lurve the crazies.

Here is the astonishing picture from a video of an unidentified object flying over President Barack Obama's inauguration this week in Washington, D.C.

The video, titled 'Filmed by CNN News – UFO at Inauguration of President Barack Hussein Obama' has created a buzz since it appeared on the internet.

The video shows CNN anchors Wolf Blitzer and Anderson Cooper discussing President Obama’s historic speech before cutting to a shot of the Washington D.C.'s Capitol.
I report, you deride.

Undisclosed Flying Objects

UFO sightings:UFO enthusiasts call on Obama to release X-Files
Photographed by an anonymous French doctor on March 23, 1974 in Tavernes, Var, during a major UFO flap over France
An interesting little tidbit:
President-elect Barack Obama has a lot on his plate: a struggling economy, two wars, international terrorist threats… and pressure from UFO enthusiasts to release government files about alien sightings. In a letter, the Extraterrestrial Phenomenon Political Action Committee, which has gathered 40,000 signatures, asked Obama to “end the six-decade truth embargo regarding an extraterrestrial presence engaging the human race.” Obama may also be hearing about the cause from John Podesta and Bill Richardson, who have expressed support in the past for transparency concerning the mysterious 800 million pages.
And here everyone was poking fun at Dennis Kucinich. I never really understood that, considering all he said was that he saw something he didn't recognize.

Did you notice how much younger Barack Obama looks? And that was only a year ago. He also gave a great response, but that's not important now.

What is important is that the Telegraph, which posted the original article, goes on to say:
The campaigners, who resent their common portrayal as nuts and conspiracy theorists, have high hopes of success due to their inside track with Mr Obama.
Having Podesta and Richardson on their side is making them optimistic that they'll finally make some headway.

I hope they won't be alienated again.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.
