Obama the Socialist got more votes than McCain from... those who'd get a tax increase

I'm chuckling to myself. ::chortle:: Did you hear me? Here I go again, listen carefully. ::snicker:: Why? Irony.

The very people who would go back to paying Clinton-era taxes under an Obama administration voted for the the Spread-the-Wealth Dem over Gramm-pa McSmearPants.

Yes, Joe the Mansion Owner voted for Barack the Socialist:

Daniel Gross notes that exit polls show the rich -- "and yes, if you make $250,000 or more you're rich" -- voted for Barack Obama for president "by bigger margins than did the merely well-off. If the exit polls are to be believed, those making $200,000 or more (6 percent of the electorate) voted for Obama 52-46, while McCain won the merely well-off ($100,000 to $150,000 by a 51-48 margin and $150,000 to $200,000 by a 50-48 margin)..."

"Perhaps most surprising was the result from Greenwich, Conn. The Versailles of the tri-state metro area, the most golden of the region's gilded suburbs, the childhood home of George H.W. Bush, went for Obama by a 54-46 margin -- the first time Greenwich went Democratic since 1964. Who knew the back-country estates and shoreline mansions were populated with so many traitors to their class? (In the 2004 cage match of New England-born, Yalie aristocrats, George W. Bush beat Kerry 53-47 in Greenwich.)"

VIDEO: Radio host Ed Schultz storms off Fox & Friends

Liberal talk radio host Ed Schultz voted with his feet on Friday morning and walked away in the middle of a broadcast of Fox and Friends rather than continue being interrupted and mocked by conservative Steve Malzberg.

The discussion was civil until a question was asked about "Joe the Plumber." Malzberg led off, insisting that even though the actual Joe Wurzelbacher would do far better under Obama's tax plans, the real point is that raising taxes on the wealthy to give relief to the middle class removes any incentive for people to get rich. "That's Marxism, my friend," he proclaimed.

Schultz began to reply that his own sons own a construction firm and that "we really like the Obama plan. We're going to get some tax credits that we wouldn't get under the McCain..."

At that point, Malzberg interrupted to ask, "Do you make more than 250 Ed? Does it make more than 250?"

"You know, Steve, I didn't interrupt you," Schultz replied. As Malzberg continued trying to talk over him, he objected, "This happens every time I go on the air with you. You always torpedo everybody."

"Oh, stop complaining," sneered Malzberg.

And off he went. The rest of the segment was devoted to poking fun at Ed's sudden exit.

If John Sidney's tax cuts were enforced, guess who would benefit? You? Nah. Me? Ha! John Sidney and Cindy John? Dingdingdingdingding! We have a winner!

In a new Center for American Progress Action Fund analysis, Michael Ettlinger documents how much the presidential candidates stand to personally benefit from the McCain and Obama tax proposals. The McCains — who report an annual income of over $6 million — would receive well over $300,000 from John McCain’s tax plan. By contrast, both the Obamas and McCains would receive a substantial, albeit much smaller, savings under Obama’s tax plan:
