Former Minnesota Sen. Norm Coleman has a new gig — at successor Al Franken's alma mater.

Harvard University's Institute of Politics announced Thursday that the former Republican senator will be part of its latest class of teaching fellows.

Maybe some of their smahts will rub off on him.

David Brooks notes that nearly all of President-elect Obama's appointments went to the nation's most prestigious schools.

"This truly will be an administration that looks like America, or at least that slice of America that got double 800s on their SATs. Even more than past administrations, this will be a valedictocracy -- rule by those who graduate first in their high school classes. If a foreign enemy attacks the United States during the Harvard-Yale game any time over the next four years, we're screwed."
