Even John Bolton questions McCain's foreign policy

Not that I listen to anything Bolton says, but fun is fun:

Not all American conservatives are so enamored of Republican John McCain’s calls to kick Russia out of the G-8, or to establish a “League of Democracies” to counter the United Nations.

Former U.N. ambassador John Bolton, a McCain supporter, joined some Democratic critics Tuesday by saying the expulsion of Moscow from the G-8 simply wasn’t feasible. [...]

Bolton also voiced skepticism about any new U.S. administration successfully promoting a League of Democracies to offset the power of the United Nations on international issues. [...]

McCain in recent days has continued to push his League of Democracies as a potential cornerstone of his foreign policy agenda. He’s also stuck to his call for Russia to be expelled from the G-8.

None of this really matters, because McFlippy will change his policies within the next hour or so anyway. And then change them back again.

And again.

And it will all be caught on tape.

And McFlippy will deny any of it ever took place.

And the corporate media will ignore all of that and concentrate their attention on Barack Obama's "overconfidence".

Bush sorry over Berlusconi insult

Sounds like they had another Patrick Henry grad in charge of the bios. If Senator Obama just promised to put qualified, experienced people into positions of power, that really would go a ways to fixing our damn government.

The White House has apologised to Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi for a briefing describing him as a political "amateur" who is "hated by many".

The "insulting" biography was included in a press kit distributed to reporters travelling with President George W Bush to a meeting of world leaders in Japan.

He was "one of the most controversial leaders" of a country "known for governmental corruption and vice".

Only last month, Mr Bush visited his old ally, calling him a "good friend".

The four-page description of Mr Berlusconi had been taken from the Encyclopedia of World Biography.
