The difference in the body language between these two and the McCain/Palin "ticket" couldn't be starker.

"Last Blog Standing" starts riiight....now!

Yes, it's time to steal a few more jokes from my father-in-law. For those of you who might be new here, he used to write for Alan King, Milton Berle and Jonathan Winters, just to name a few. And all those Dean Martin Roasts, too: Don Rickles, Red Buttons, Phyllis Diller, Sammy Davis, Jr., etc.

A tiny respite from all the frustrating events of the day:

JOHN McCAIN picked SARAH PALIN as his running mate for Vice President. Her claim to fame is, she's the Governor of Alaska, a former beauty queen and she has five kids, bringing new meaning to the words, "Drilling in Alaska."

She's also anti-abortion, against gun control, against gay marriage, believes in creationism and is not concerned about conservation. I don't want to say what her politics are, but last Thanksgiving when they brought out the turkey she would only eat the right wing.

McCAIN was expected to pick someone much younger than he. Rumor had it, his short list was down to 300-million.

McCAIN picked SARAH PALIN on his 72nd birthday. One of the reasons was, she's pro-life and at that age you go for anything with the word "life" in it.

Thirty-eight million people watched BARACK OBAMA's rousing speech at the Denver stadium. In it he showed the American people that from now until the election he intends to really get tough. So much so, he just replaced his top campaign strategist with HULK HOGAN.

HILLARY looked so good and her speech was so emotional, BILL not only cheered, cried and applauded, but afterward, he forgot himself and hit on her.

Come on, make some noise for my F.I.L. Okay, that's enough, shut up already! I'm trying to write here!
