This from Defense Minister Ehud Barak on the floor of the Knesset:

"Obama said that if rockets were being fired at his home while his two daughters were sleeping, he would do everything he could to prevent it," Barak told the plenum.

The defense minister said that Israel is engaged in a "war to the bitter end" against Hamas in Gaza.

Jonathan Alter: Bush directly violated 60 years of American foreign policy with those Obama's-appeasement-of-terrorists remarks. Obama "scored on McCain" by jumping all over this.

Rachel did a good job sitting in for Keith Olbermann. It's nice to see her get a full hour of TV exposure to herself.
