Okay, how creepy is this:

First we had Obama fried chicken. Wasn't that enough? No? Really? Alrighty then...
Straight from the Department of Pure, No Frills Unadulterated Oy (Paddy's original post about these pieces of drek here):
From a Florida Fox affilliate:
Some local Walgreen's stores are pulling a supposed likeness of President Barack Obama off their shelves. The 'Chia Obama' will no longer be sold there. [...]
But now, the corporate office has asked stores to pull the product from their stores because, he said, it is not appropriate for the company's corporate image.
First, Walgreen's has a corporate image? Well okay, I guess they didn't want this mental picture lingering in the minds of their clientele:
Please tell me that was a spoof. Because if it wasn't... how much hokier and more tasteless could they get? The emotionally charged music...The faux patriotism... The moving tribute... And then...
...and then...
...a loving shot of "Chia Obama", the most hideously tacky piece of merchandise to date, filling the screen.
Way to cheapen a really class act, guys.
UPDATE:
A must see. Chia Obamatude on crack.
