George Clooney To Host Haiti Telethon, Simulcast On MTV, ABC, NBC, HBO, CNN

On Friday, Jan. 22, George Clooney will host a live telethon to benefit earthquake victims in Haiti. Clooney’s rep says the telethon is now set to air on all of the MTV channels worldwide, along with ABC, NBC, HBO and CNN. The show will air 8-10 p.m. ET.

*No, I have no idea on which night Lost airs. I was simply quipping my fool head off.

Clooney denies email relationship with Obama

At least Obama knows what email is. These rumours are so dorky. In my travels I've seen trolls stating that Clooney is giving Obama pointers on "facial and hand gestures" to improve his speeches. Um, heylo, but McSnore is the one who needs coaching in those areas folks. Obama seems to be doing just fine on the speech thing.

(CNN)—George Clooney and Scarlett Johansson have more in common than their A-list star status: both have had to shoot down reports they’re e-mail buddies of presumptive Democratic nominee Barack Obama.

Clooney is flatly denying a report in the Los Angeles Times that he “frequently text messages the Illinois senator with whom he's been friends for many years.”

"I have never texted or e-mailed Senator Obama. And I'll offer a million dollars to anyone who could prove otherwise,” Clooney said in a statement. “I've spent more time with Senator McCain (he did my TV show**) then I have with Senator Obama. I would hope that my friend John McCain would join me in condemning this kind of politics.”

**Hmm, not on his IMDB resume. Is Senator McCain hiding some more of his "celebrity"?
