Sheldon Whitehouse is one senator who gets my attention in a good way. He's smart, articulate, knowledgeable, and asks the right questions at hearings.

This time he gave us an accurate and pointed quote regarding the childish Rushpublic boycott of the climate hearings:

The House Energy and Commerce subcommittee has added former House Speaker Newt Gingrich (R-Ga.) to the roster of witnesses for its hearing on a climate bill Friday. He joins former Vice President Al Gore on the witness list.

The pairing sets up a showdown of two top past officials from the major parties who have come to represent big thoughts and star power for their respective parties.
