Health Care Watch: Author of Canadian article on Shona Holmes responds to TPC commenters

By GottaLaff

A couple of days ago, I posted a wonderful piece about Canadian health care complete with myth-busting by someone who should know. Here's an excerpt:

33.7 million Canadians are not Shona Holmes

The GOP can’t produce any logical argument against a system that is entrenched in every Western society except yours, so they resort to fear-mongering and lies, claiming that one Canadian’s skewed view trumps the experiences and beliefs of the rest of us.
Now the author of the piece, The Gazetteer, has posted a comment at TPC that I want to bring to your attention.
Hi All,

I wrote the post linked to in this story that explains what Ms. Holmes’ benign cyst really was and what the usual standard of care for treating such benign lesions is (many others have done a good job on this as well now).

But…..

For anyone who would like/needs a short, succinct description of the experience of someone who actually did have a malignant glioblastoma (ie. the type of real brain tumor that the obfuscators’ were originally inferring Ms. Holmes’ had) and who did receive immediate surgery, radiation and chemotheray courtesy of the Canadian Healthcare system, I have a post up on that now, here.

______
Anon-Above--

In answer to your question, Ms. Holmes' and the branch plant shills of the Canadian Healthcare Haters' Club, Inc. north of the border are trying to force the Canadian people to pay the bill.
Thank you, Gazetteer.
