It's important to remember that the 9/12ers wanted to "recapture the feeling we all had the day after 9/11." (thank you for the quote, Broadway Carl).
Isn't it great the way they did that? How they showed the world exactly what it meant to have your loved ones murdered, to have gone through national mourning and suffering? To come together as a country, to feel compassion and love for your fellow citizens? To honor and respect your president in a time of war and financial crisis?
Now if you'll excuse me, I need to grab a tissue, because... because... well... just read ahead.
