Wasilla Weekly in Alaska Endorses McCain -- Calls Obama a 'Wimp'

Um, no matter what I say it would be offensive to Alaskans, so I'll just keep my fingers quiet.

NEW YORK It's not exactly a shock that The Frontiersman, the weekly in Wasilla, Alaska, would endorse John McCain this week -- unlike many other papers in the state it has found little to criticize in hometown fave Sarah Palin -- but the tone is a little surprising, especially with so much national focus on the small town.

Here's a sample: "Aside from domestic agendas, we’re a nation at war. America needs as its Commander-in-Chief a warrior, not a wimp."

The paper also blamed the Democrats for the current financial crisis--for passing laws that allowed all those bad loans. Oddly, unlike most papers across the country, it had very little to say about how Palin helps the ticket and if she is ready to serve as Commander-in-Chief.
