Beauty shops. Barber shops. Bus stops. Churches.
All for the sake of getting you to vote.

At the local level, organizers will be encouraging people to vote early starting Oct. 6, said Shailen Bhatt, regional field director for Obama's campaign in northern Indiana.
Early balloting ensures everyone gets a chance at the ballot box and helps avoid the myriad situations that prevent people from voting such as long lines or bad weather, Bhatt said.
"The tragedy is not people who vote against us," he said. "The tragedy is people who want to vote for us, go there, and can't."
