President Obama's transition team and cabinet possibilites

By GottaLaff

First things first:

Three people will run President-elect Obama's transition team -- former White House chief of staff John Podesta, Obama friend Valerie Jarrett, and Obama Senate chief of staff Pete Rouse, according to the New York Times.

ABC News reports three people will join a transition team advisory board: Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, former Clinton Transportation and Energy Secretary Federico Peña, and former Clinton Commerce Secretary William Daley.
Look at these names: President Obama's cabinet could have some star power:
Politico reports President-elect Obama is considering several "celebrity-level political stars" for Cabinet posts. Among those mentioned:
  • Robert Kennedy, Jr. as head of the Environmental Protection Agency
  • Colin Powell for secretary of defense or education
  • Caroline Kennedy for U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, "although some Obama officials doubt she would take the post.
I doubt Caroline would take the post, too. But I love Robert Kennedy as the EPA head. Perfect choice.
