Newsweek's Richard Wolffe, who's been on the Obama trail since February 2007, has just signed a book deal with publisher Crown, a Random House imprint. [...]

Besides Newsweek, Wolffe's profile was raised during the 2008 race with regular appearances on MSNBC -- enough to be parodied last week during the Keith Olbermann sketch on "Saturday Night Live."
