12 News has learned a major fund raising event for John McCain's presidential campaign is being moved from the Phoenix Convention Center to a private residence.
President Bush is scheduled to attend the event Tuesday evening. A spokesman for the campaign confirmed the move, saying it was done so the event would not be subjected to protests.
The AFL-CIO and other groups are planning a protest march from the state capitol to the convention center Tuesday where President Bush is scheduled to make a speech at the fundraising event.
