VIDEO: "Butt sniffer" SteeleFail interview with Tea Bagger radio host

By GottaLaff

Via Think Progress:

When Tea Baggers get angry, they get even more vile than usual, and that's sayin' something. Oh, but you already knew that.

As I posted yesterday, Michael Steele stood up ABC News. But there's more! He also blew off conservative Tea Baggy radio personality Dana Loesch, who tweeted her wrath. And in another tweet...

She also gave props to Democratic Sen. Claire McCaskill (MO) for keeping her interview, writing, “So out of @clairecmc and @chairmanmsteele , McCaskill is the one who keeps her interview. #steelefail”
And how did she get even? Because, as we all know, acceptance isn't the Tea Baggers' strong suit. There were bound to be consequences. And consequences there were!

She interviewed herself... as Steele. And what an interview it was. Loud, strident, mocking... and ruthless. Why, she even shut herself up-- as Steele.

Let's just say Dana's not a big fan.

On the other hand, Michael Steele has become her new imaginary playmate, so maybe there's a reconciliation in their future. After all, she can't fight with her alter ego forever. That can wear a girl/guy out.

More here.

PhotOh! What a Shmuckola Looks Like

By GottaLaff

This is what a schmuckola looks like:

or2

Follow the link to The Mudflats for details:
Eddie Burke, the local radio hatemonger on KBYR 700-am and Sarah Palin’s golden boy had his show chopped by an hour, and his time slot moved.
A whole hour? Pity.

No it's not. I lied.

And what is it with Barbie McLipSchmutz groupies who can't spell? I mean really... "rascist"?

FBI Arrests Far-Right Radio Host Hal Turner

By GottaLaff

Via Oliver Willis, we see how far a wingnut will go to "cling to his guns":

Hal Turner, an intermittent Internet radio talk show host and blogger, was arrested today by FBI agents at his home in North Bergen, N.J., on a federal complaint filed in Chicago alleging that he made Internet postings threatening to assault and murder three federal appeals court judges in Chicago in retaliation for their recent ruling upholding handgun bans in Chicago and a suburb.

Internet postings on June 2 and 3 proclaimed ‘outrage’ over the June 2, 2009, handgun decision [...] stating, among other things: ‘Let me be the first to say this plainly: These Judges deserve to be killed.’ The postings included photographs, phone numbers, work address and room numbers of these judges, along with a photo of the building in which they work and a map of its location.

[...] He was charged with threatening to assault and murder three federal judges with intent to retaliate against them for performing official duties in a criminal complaint filed today in U.S. District Court in Chicago. [...]

We take threats to federal judges very seriously. Period,’ said Patrick J. Fitzgerald, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Illinois, who announced the charges with Robert D. Grant, Special Agent-in-Charge of the Chicago Office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

Right wing extremism doesn't hold a candle to all those wacky left wingy violent episodes, though.

Hmm? What's that? Oh yeah, there aren't a whole lot of scary, evil, threatening lefties making the news the way Turner has, my bad.

AUDIO: Jay Severin suspended after blaming swine flu on the ‘millions of leeches’ from Mexico.

By GottaLaff

I remember this bigot from his Tee Vee punditiot days. My question is, why didn't they fire him?

Conservative talker Jay Severin was suspended indefinitely today by Boston's WTKK-FM after using the current swine flu outbreak to attack Mexicans and immigrants. [...]

So now in addition to venereal disease and the other leading exports of Mexico -- women with mustaches and VD -- now we have swine flu. ... We should be if anything surprised that Mexico has not visited upon us poxes of more various and serious types considering the number of cimminalieans already here. [...]

[W]hen scoop up some of the world's lowest of primitives in poor Mexico and drop it down in the middle of the United States. Poor, without skills, without language, not share our culture, not share our hygiene. ... It's millions of leeches from a primitive country. ... Now they are exporting a rather more active form of disease which is the swine flu.

He-e-e-ere's Jay:

Severin's agent thinks Senor Severin "will be back on the air doing great radio soon."

Frangela says they're available to be my loofah

By GottaLaff

Forgive me, for I have sinned. I am here to rectify an egregious error. I am here, with hat in hand, tongue in cheek, to apologize to Frangela [the adorably hilarious comedy duo, Frances Callier and Angela V. Shelton, both of The Second City, who have a political talk show on progressive radio out here in California] for suggesting that they may have MySpaced me with what I called a computer generated message.

You see, I just couldn't grasp that two such funny, talented comic artists could have paid me the compliments that they did without some fancy schmancy showbiz hocus pocus behind it. I'm a fool. And I have wronged my new bffs. I deserve to be waterboarded.. which isn't torture, and is very effective.

I am truly humbled. I am groveling at the feet of the two kindest, most generous women on the Radio Machine, who have somehow found it in their conjoined hearts to correct my evil ways. Ladies and gentlemen, I give you their most recent MySpace response:
Okay,
you rock!
You are so much better than our publicist!
dude!
What can we write that will solve this concern about
these messages being computer generated . . .
because you are right,
any computer program would come to the conclusion that
you are brilliant too . . .
so let's see . . .
okay how about -
we are available to be your loofah,
intelectually, emotionally or in any way that gets you clean and fresh!
We are your fans GottaLaff!
And we recommend gargling with salt water and rubbing yourself
with rubbing alchol/vodka to get the stench of that Newt (it was Newt right? )twitter off of you!
Ick!
you rock,
angela & frances aka frangela
They were clearly aware of this post. And they are the best thing since Obamicons. I will never doubt them again. bowdown.gif Bowdown picture by ChrisCringle

On the plus side, if there's one thing he can do, it's talk... and talk... and talk...
Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich "has a new gig -- as a radio talk show host," the AP reports.

WLS-AM program director Bob Shomper says Blagojevich will be on the air on the Chicago station Wednesday morning, taking calls from listeners, telling stories and talking with guests.

Radio host suspended-- He aired phone numbers of anti-Palin protesters

By GottaLaff

Bumping up this video to unpleasantly refresh your memories:

Now there is some small degree of justice, albeit not enough:

Anchorage AM radio host Eddie Burke has been suspended for a week for broadcasting the phone number of women involved in organizing a protest against Sarah Palin.

The women later received threatening phone calls. In a statement, KBYR-AM 700 station manager Justin McDonald said broadcasting the number last week was "breaking station policy." Burke will be suspended for one week without pay, he said.

"Though I do not agree with some of the comments he made, as a licensee, we attempt to respect everyone's First Amendment rights, including Eddie Burke's, our listeners' and our nonlisteners'," McDonald's statement said. "That does not mean I condone inciting violence or harm in any way to people wanting to voice their opinions with peaceful protest."

He should have been fired.
