Shallow Thoughts: Why is CNN smearing Obama?

If the new anti-Obama book is filled with lies designed to destroy Obama, then why are Suzanne Malveaux and Jessica Yellin reporting about its contents in detail?

I'm so relieved to hear that the book will have no real impact. For a minute there, I thought it was inflammatory.
