INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI (March 31, 2010) – Preserving American Liberty announced today Fred and Jeri Thompson and Liz Cheney will join Sarah Palin at the Independence Events Center, Saturday, May 1, 2010. Fred Thompson is a former Presidential Candidate, U.S. Senator and is a well-known Actor, Jeri Thompson is married to Fred Thompson and is a political commentator, and Liz Cheney is with Keep America Safe and the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.

Fred Thompson got a job!!

Good, now maybe he'll stop doing shite like that video. Ugh. But I'm sure alot of people miss his granddaughter.

Fred Thompson is making good on his threat promise to return to acting. The former U.S. senator, whose presidential dreams went up in smoke earlier this year, has landed a guest stint on ABC's out-of-this-world drama Life on Mars, sources confirm to me exclusively. He'll play the NYPD's chief of detectives in a February episode.

Fredhorn Leghorn says we have Palin panic

Ah say, Fred Thompson says, ah say, he says we Democrats panicked over Sarah Palin. I wish we had known. It's hard to have that news broken to us by Fredhorn on national television.

Immediately after that, he went into a lengthy, detailed description of J Sid's P.O.W. experience.

Soon after he fell asleep at the podium and had to be dragged off stage. He could be heard mumbling in his sleep, "Why, ah say, why couldn't it have been Thompson/Palin? Noun. Verb. Ah say, noun, verb, P.O.W." Then he lapsed into a coma.

Convention organizers and John McCain's campaign adjusted the schedule of the four-day gathering with Hurricane Gustav bearing down on the Gulf Coast. The storm now has weakened. That means Republicans will resurrect their program with some changes.

Former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani had been scheduled to give the keynote address. But Thompson and Lieberman will take the podium instead. Republicans say the two will talk about McCain's biography and their friendship with him.
