No matter what solutions the Democrats come up with, there will be the same old obstructionists giving them the same old thumbs down. They have no interest in moving the bill forward or providing life-saving options to ill and dying Americans. None. It's all about who shoves money into their pockets.

Time to tell them to take their donors and shove them:

Independent Joe Lieberman of Connecticut says opposition is growing to the Medicare buy-in. Lieberman says that he'd "have a hard time voting for it."

Democrat Ben Nelson of Nebraska says he fears the proposal could lead to single-payer government health care.

Let's hope Nelson is right.
