John Sidney McCain: Iraq War easy before it was hard before it was easy

2002, 2003:

Sen. John McCain (R-AZ) was a fixture on cable television, assuring Americans that an invasion of Iraq would be “easy.”

2006:

[He] “fully understood from the beginning” that Iraq “would be a very, very difficult undertaking.”

January 2007:

First, he said that he knew it was “going to be long and hard and tough,” but six days later he claimed, “I said the military operation would be easy. It was easy.”

2008:

On Larry King Live last night, when asked about the decision to invade, McCain went back to saying that he predicted America would have “an easy victory” and that “we did“. [see video above, at approximately 6:00]

Wait, what? We'd have a victory and we did? We would and we did? Would and did? McDingy would make a horrendous president, but let's hope he didn't, can't, would not, hasn't, and never will.
