Video- New Wingnut Meme Fail: Russians Snubbed Obama-- Refused to Shake His Hand!

They're going to try and work this one up, so expect to see it on Hannity tonight. The funny thing is, I saw this on MSNBC while I was talking to Gotta and I thought the same thing at first viewing (I looked for, but couldn't find the vid). Watch it a couple times and see if you see what I (and some commenters at YouTube) saw. Winger Meme Fail.

Did they ever once stop to think why Medvedev would be shaking hands with Russian officials?

Nope, that would mess with their world view.

Maybe its because Obama is unable to look into their eyes and see their souls. Russians like that.

I tried reading the YouTube comments but got turned off by a lot of the racist stuff.

My take is that Obama is introducing his people to Medvedev. The outstretched hand is not there to be shaken, but is an indication of the person he's introducing. That's it, right?

Yep Eric, someone in comments mentioned that some of the people in the greeting line were sitting on Obama's side of the table during another segment, so they're sure to be locally assigned American diplomats or something similiar.

Yay! I get a gold star!!

These are clearly members of the U.S. delegation.

Also, this whole thing is somewhat reminiscent of the McCain "snub" of Obama at one of the debates when many on our side saw McCain refusing to shake Obama's hand, when in reality Obama was merely extending his arm to introduce Michelle to the McCains.

Ezekiel... Good one.

The funny thing to me is that regardless of what's depicted in the video, the conservoclowns would be jumping on it.

1) OMG, Obama's being snubbed by Russians! His terrible rapport will doom us all!

2) OMG, Obama's being well-received by Russians! His cozying up to them will doom us all!

That's why I soooooo enjoy these mis-reads by these fools.
