Rapid response in action. Guess who's not going to get away with SwiftBoating this time around?

MCCAIN: Uh, I, I just have to rely on the good judgment of the voters not to buy into these negative attack ads. Sooner or later, people are going to figure out if all you run is negative attack ads you dont have much of a vision for the future or you're not ready to articulate it. So many posts, so little time...
Really really good. God, this makes him look like such a bastard.
That's 'cause he is.
It seems to be that Republicans are REALLY good at debating themselves...
Is this a national ad?
Lieberman on Fox News just said something defending McCain's campaign claiming it's not going negative, and Chris Wallace corrected him with a quote from one of McCain's campaign staff saying McCain IS going negative. Nice.
Wish I'd been playing closer attention so I could quote it better, but, y'know, how close attention am I expected to pay to Lieberman?
When I see Lieberman on, I switch channels. Don't feel the least bit bad that your brain blocked him out.
Good idea, bad execution imo. I really couldn't tell from watching the ad that it was against McCain. It came across to me as McCain saying Obama is running attack ads and that means he doesn't have much to say. And I had already read the post that told me what the ad says!
I couldn't read the words in the ad the first time I watched it-- they went by fast and having some words in read actually made it harder to read quickly.
Am I the only dummy who had trouble with this ad?
Oh, I guess that was Fox News Sunday this morning. Transcript here:

At the beginning.
yay for Chris Wallace.
What is happening that the press is reporting this year and not just reading the campaign press releases?
Is it because they are all mad at McCain? Is it maybe that they are figuring out that we rely more on the internet than them because they have been almost useless for the past 8 years?
Evers, who knows, but I'm happy about it. And yeah, the ad was jumbly. I was just glad they popped one out, regardless.
At least it shows they're on top of it.
yes -- glad they are fighting back
When FOX is willing to swat Lieberman on the nose with a rolled-up newspaper, it's definitely time for him to be reviewing his retirement plans.
