On Fox News Sunday, Obama chief strategist David Axelrod goes on offense against McCain's campaign manager, Rick Davis:Watch the video. The fun starts at about 7:10.
Axelrod: "Do you sell access to Senator McCain?"
Davis: "No, I don't."
Axelrod: "Is that how you've made millions of dollars?"
Davis: "Not at all."
Axelrod: "You've never done that? You've never — nobody's ever been told they oughta hire you if they want to get to Senator McCain? I'm asking you a question."
Davis: "Character assassination has become the hallmark of the Obama campaign."

Axelrod nails him, and Tom Davis can't respond.
A mean ratweasel.
I changed my mind I think I was being mean spirited too but I couldn't help it
What you said laffy shoot I shouldn't have deleted my comment
hehehe, Ellen. You're allowed to say he's a mean rat, because it's fact.
And even if it isn't fact, you're allowed to have an opinion.
It's not as if you called him a mean ratweasel. That would have been too harsh. Snicker.
LMAO...... it is Sunday I didn't go to church and I am feeling a little guilty here...
I really can't abide this kind of yapping - from either side frankly.
But if one goes onto Fox it's par for the course.
When Davies continually spoke over Axelrod I only wished the latter had repeated, calmly - "Please let me finish my point"....and
"I'd like to make my point."
and why not leave it at that?
Let the other side show themselves up for who they are......
Calmness and centeredness in the face of such verbal assault can really speak volumes .
This behavior is infantile and useless.
Like a hockey brawl on the ice where the ref. let's them go at it.
I honestly believe one CAN win more with honey rather than vinegar.
Just thought I'd add this to my comment above.
My Hubby says this sort of "sparing" has a certain sophistication to it if one can tolerate it.
So, I guess my choice here is not to "wotch" it in the first place.!
;-)
hahahaaaaaaa, awesome and True!
The Obama campaigns surrogates mantra seems to be "Don't get bulldozed." Too bad Kerry did not do this in 04. Very impressive.
by the way wotching....these kind of sparing might be distasteful to the informed and educated minded...which I guess makes us 'elite'. However, its the hallmark of American cultural discourse, if it wasn't, we wouldn't have Fox news loved by millions of ignorant voters.
So, the Obama campaign have learned the game of Fix news, attack and just sit back and watch them stutter.
Hey Cindi,
That was the other point my Hubby made to me and I hear ya - tanx!
Still; I hope for a day when we have no tolerance for any bullying in wotever form it comes.....
i know....
wishful thinking and all that.....
;-)
peace
