Research 2000: Dead Heat in Indiana

I really don't think it's that close, but just in case it is, can you imagine? Indiana? Going blue? Gobsmacking.

A new Research 2000 poll in Indiana shows the presidential race is a dead heat with Sen. Barack Obama and Sen. John McCain each getting 46% support.

Interesting: "The poll also found that Sarah Palin is helping the Republicans more than Joe Biden is helping the Democrats, but only slightly. And, while race is a factor, 87 percent of the likely voters polled said they would vote for a black candidate."

I wonder how much Letterman is influencing Indiana, if at all?

I knkow I'm not the sharpest knife in he box, but I seriously do not understand: Rasmussen say that many/all (?) of their polling reports are executed for Fox. But with the distinct trend away from McMagoo, what do Fox do with the polling reports? They don't seem to have them at the top of the show.

Go, Barack! Don't let the old crook get you het up, stick to the facts all American voters need to hear and understand. Be the solid, dependable reference point in the mess 8 years of Bush have left the world, its atmosphere, its waters, its nations, its people, its industry, its economics...It's a "zero" on every point, and McMagoo doesn't have a clue.

I was driving through my old hometown of Noblesville yesterday (Hamilton County, Indiana) and I saw too many McCain signs for comfort. It's one of the fastest growing counties in the nation so I would imagine some , and it would be a good place to focus some effort. ;)

We really can swing it, I know it. I was disappointed the primary went to Hillary, but I still remember how insanely close it was. Indiana just needs a little push...

*Sorry, I meant to say "I would imagine some of them are open-minded enough to listen"
