McCain Camp Kicking People Out Of Rallies Because They Don't Look "Right"

If I wasn't thrilled to death about how they've ramped up the destruction of their own party, this would be disgusting. Seems they were pre-emptively removing people who looked a certain way, i.e. young college aged people. Including their own supporters.

When I started talking to them, it kind of became clear that they were kind of just telling people to leave that they thought maybe would be disruptive, but based on what? Based on how they looked,” Elborno said. “It was pretty much all young people, the college demographic.”

Elborno said even McCain supporters were among those being asked to leave.

“I saw a couple that had been escorted out and they were confused as well, and the girl was crying, so I said ‘Why are you crying? and she said ‘I already voted for McCain, I’m a Republican, and they said we had to leave because we didn’t look right,’” Elborno said. “They were handpicking these people and they had nothing to go off of, besides the way the people looked.”

I bet that girl is wishing she hadn't voted yet.

I bet you're right, Amy.

Maybe she'll realize the error of her ways and volunteer for the Obama campaign for atonement.

Nothing wrong with wishful thinking, right?

And seriously, shouldn't John McCain have come to the conclusion by now that you want MORE people at your rallies? Maybe he just hates Obama so much by this point that he doesn't want to be anything like him. By that I mean successful.

Hey, I'd cry too if I'd voted for McCain.

Don't forget the crap that was going on in the last one/two elections, where the Repubs were tossing people out of rallies for Bushed, if they were wearing Kerry (and/or Gore) shirts.

Same old crap...different year.

That woman needs to go out and tell her story and find at least 2 NEW voters to help her counter her own misguided vote.

Drive some older folks to the polls, talk to your neighbors, make an effort. If we all find 1 new voter and get them to the polls, we double our voice, and the Reptiles will be sent away to crawl back under the rock where they came from.

Although I'm not for McCain, I don't believe that the piece of the article that is posted here tells the whole story. If you read the article, you will see that Elborno admits to protesting before. Perhaps the police recognized her?

Senator McCain has already told us of his preference for hatchets to scalpels (in the debates); now, we see that mind-set at work.

This is sad for Senator McCain's supporters who were ushered out for "not looking right." (How must that feel?) Yet, when they signed on to his campaign, they knew he was a shoot first, ask questions afterward sort of person.

So now the McShame campaign is "profiling" its rally attendees?
Wowzers! I would think by now Whistling Johnny would either have run out of ammunition or run out of feet.

GOP: the party of Hate and Fear.

Bereft of any substantive ideas, the little Nazis rabble roused their ignorant redneck base; the Republican melding of jackboots and Massey Ferguson nativism. Goober alles!!!

Now, in the terminal stage, they've begun the pogroms and purges.

Too bad William Shire isn't around to write a book ‘bout these dumb asses.

Older status quo, like in the 60's that designated all the young as 'hippies and beatniks'. We know it as the Profiling/Willie Lynch theology.

Status Quo kicking and screaming, while devouring their younger voter base in a profiling extavaganza!

Remember how they laughed at the dems in the beginning primaries because we were fighting for nominee. Raunch Limburger sending his female and male viewers to staunch the democrats and get them to fight each other for ammo in the general.

To the Grand Old Poopers:

I would rather have the confusion while lining up for the race, then to have it during the home stretch.

Great pick that Palin Maverick, John.

She's learned to eat the "Status Quo", to which you corporate shills and voters against your own interest, belong.

Enjoying the sideshow, can't wit for the judicial encore.

Ha!
