Great strategery there, genius, to announce you're "turning the page" on the economy as the DOW drops south of 800 points.

Obama should lay off the Keating Five stuff and just hit McCain on dodging the issues with old, discredited smears that McCain himself doesn't believe. It's easy for the Obama campaign to defend against: If John McCain honestly thought a sitting U.S. Senator was "palling around" with terrorists, then why did he wait until 30 days before the election to talk about it. If he really puts country first, he should have been raising holy hell about it for that past two years.; October 6, 2008 4:00 PM
