WVEC-TV: "The Virginia Beach Fire Marshal's office estimated the size of the crowd to be 12,000. A McCain campaign spokeswoman claimed the crowd size was 25,000, but the Convention Center's capacity is only 16,000.And if a man has to lie about size, well, let's just call him a man with shortcomings and leave it at that..

Funny True Story: I was on a family vacation when I was 13. We were driving from Portland, Oregon to Los Angeles. It was late at night, Mom was driving, Dad was asleep in the back seat, and it was my job to keep Mom awake. We were just outside of Shasta where I saw a sign for Mt. Shasta, and I started talking to Mom about how Dad and I had been talking the week before and he'd tried to tell me that Mt. Hood was one of the tallest mountains in the world. I told her that he had claimed it was "over 20,000 feet tall" (it's only a shade over 11,000).
My mother held up her hand and held her forefinger and thumb a few inches apart, and with a straight face said, "It's not surprising, coming from a man who's been trying to tell me for twenty years that this is eight inches."
Laughed my ass off. To this day it is the funniest thing anyone has ever said. So unexpected. So wrong. So funny.

She used to be quite the wit. First dirty joke she ever told me. My older sisters later told me that she had a ton of them. She rarely let loose in front of me. I think she was afraid that I'd tell them at school (I would).

honestly who cares....its about who comes out on Nov 4th and votes. Obama had huge crowds in most states, yet Hillary beat him in some of them. Then again, the Republicans had difficulty filling a classroom, so with Palen, the base is excited.
